Guide

Grout for marble tiles.

Grout is a small part of a marble floor or wall, and the part most likely to go wrong. Here is what to know.

01

Seal first.

Seal the tiles before grouting. Unsealed marble can absorb grout pigment and stay marked.

02

Type.

Use unsanded or fine grout for narrow joints, to avoid scratching polished stone. Epoxy grout resists stains but is harder to work with.

03

Colour.

Match the base colour of the stone for a calm surface. Contrasting grout shows every line.
