Guide

Double sinks. When two basins make sense.

Two people, one bathroom, the same time every morning. A double basin solves that. Here is how to plan it.

01

Width.

Two people need about 60 cm each. From 120 cm, two can use one basin side by side. For two separate bowls, plan 140 cm or more.

02

One wide or two bowls.

A single wide trough with two taps is simpler to clean and reads as one piece. Two bowls give each person their own space.

03

Taps and drains.

Each tap needs its own hole or wall outlet. A wide trough may have one or two drains. Decide before ordering.
