Guide

Marble bathrooms. Where to use the stone.

A marble bathroom does not need marble everywhere. Start with the surfaces you touch most, and build from there.

01

Start with the basin.

The basin is the piece you see and touch daily. A solid stone basin sets the material for the room.

02

Walls and floor.

Marble tiles on one wall, behind the basin or in the shower, tie the room together. On floors, choose a honed finish for grip.

03

How much stone.

One stone, used in two or three places, reads calm. Mixing several patterned stones in a small room tends to compete.
