Guide
A marble sink is a solid piece of natural stone, shaped into a basin. No two are the same. This guide covers the four choices that matter: stone, size, drainage and taps.
01
Every basin is available in four stones: Carrara (white with soft grey veining), Travertine (pale ivory Travertino Alabastrino), Calacatta Viola (white with burgundy veining) and Verde Alpi (deep green).
Lighter stones show the veining clearly and keep a bathroom bright. Darker stones hide water marks better. Travertine has a matte, porous surface. Carrara and Calacatta Viola are the classic polished-marble look.
02
Measure the wall or cabinet first. For a guest toilet or small bathroom, a compact basin like Sink B01 fits. For a main bathroom, 60 to 100 cm gives room for daily use. From 120 cm, two people can use the basin side by side.
03
Basic is a plain drain hole and is included. A Stone knob covers the drain with a small piece in the same stone. A Stone plate hides it under a flat stone panel. Both upgrades keep the basin in one material from edge to drain.
04
Choose between a wall-mounted tap (no tap hole) or a deck-mounted tap (one or more tap holes in the stone). Decide before ordering. Holes are cut during production, not after.
Questions
Yes. Marble is hard enough for daily use for decades. It is softer than granite and reacts to acids, so it needs sealing and gentle cleaning.
It can, if coloured liquids or acidic products stay on the surface. Sealing slows this down. Wipe the basin dry after use.
Yes. Veining and tone vary from piece to piece. The product photos show the type of stone, not the exact piece you receive.
