Guide
A wall-mounted basin hangs without a cabinet. It keeps the floor clear and shows the stone from every side. It also needs planning.
01
Stone is heavy. The wall needs to carry the basin and someone leaning on it. Solid walls are best. Stud walls need reinforcement behind the board.
02
The top of the basin usually sits 80 to 90 cm from the floor. Adjust for the household.
03
Decide on taps and drainage before the wall is closed. Wall-mounted taps need pipes in the wall. A visible drain under the basin should look good, or be planned to be hidden.
